“Let Mirror Sound Reflect Your Ideas”
Studio
Doug Higgins-Arranger/Composer: I just want to thank you for the nice job you did on the Streams of Yellowstone project. The synth sounds were more clear and your mastering made the instruments sound more real. At the same time the instruments seemed to be better blended. All in all the tracks were more powered up, the sounds were sweetened and there was increased clarity. As I said before: I did my best and asked you to do what I cannot do - and you did it. Thanks again Ken!

Mirror Sound's mastering and duplication services are a 1-stop solution for anyone needing high- quality mastering and/or duplication at an affordable price and with a fast turnaround. We start by working with you to get your feelings on each song. We take your input and begin the mastering process. During the process we use Samplitude 10 as our host DAW, Waves Mastering Software (phase coherent multiband compressors, L2 and L3 normalizing, phase accurate lo-band filter, and possibly X-Noise filtering), as well as various analogue hardware options. Our multiple monitor systems and finely tuned, acoustically balanced control room contribute to our record of getting the most out of your mixes and creating the final master right the first time. All songs will have proper PQ placement, accurate spacing and sequencing and an appropriate overall loudness to give your CD a smooth cohesive sound. Frequency balance will be adjusted to enhance the feel of your songs, adjust for inconsistencies track to track, as well as bring the overall CD to a industry standard frequency balance acceptable for Radio play or MP3 distribution. We then create a reference CD for your review. Once you approve the sound, we complete the process and render your master Red Book CD's complete with TOC (table of contents) ready for duplication. In most cases, customers are delighted with the improvements our mastering has made to their songs, however if changes are desired they are handled free of charge.
Chad Robinson: Great job on the mastering, good response from friends and fans!! I have reached iTunes and many other online music sites I'm looking forward to doing more work with you! Your advice is very helpful. To write a song is a goal but to make it great is a passion! Angela Hammontree: First, the mastering sounds great. Really good. There are some things that used to jump out at me that seem to have been smoothed out through the mastering process, and on the flip side, some other things that I can hear a lot better now after mastering. Kick ass! Kisar Jones-Fryberg: “Great spot, Been Bumping my new Project "The E.P" Just mastered recently at Mirror Sound Studio. Great Sound As Always! ... GO HERE! Robert Hammertrom: I'd like to give a special thank you to my mastering engineer Ken Fordyce at Mirror Sound for his efforts in the mastering of my projects, his work is impeccable!
