Equipment and maintenance go hand-in hand. While much of the maintenance is done in house, many pieces of gear including the 24 in, 8 buss Soundcraft Series 600 Console have been customized by Jim Williams of Audio Upgrades. Carefully selected devices from: Neuman, AKG, DBX, Lexicon, Sennheiser, Sure, EV, Klark Teknik, Aphex, DigiDesign, and Apogee. Key software selection for the Mac and PC based DAWs is another area where Mirror Sound’s experience shines. (see list below)

Center Stage Directly behind the glass is a multi-purpose room we call Center Stage. It’s use is primarily guitars, miked and acoustic and some vocals. The convenience of being right through the glass of the Control Room make for a fluent work-flow.
Iso-Booth Studio’s  historically depend on an Isolation booth for a vocal or instrument (violin) that needs to be heard while tracking, yet isn’t intended to be the final keeper track. It’s interesting how often the “Scratch” track becomes the final keeper track.
Control Room A large comfortable Control Room with good sight- lines was a necessity. Multiple video displays around the room help everyone stay connected with the engineer’s work with the DAW.
Mirror Sound Control Room is large and comfortable wih easy access o all the recording areas through the sound lock Mac and PC Digital Audio Workstations are easy to access both use the 24 channel Apogee Converters The Apogee DA16X, AD16X and the Rosetta 800 with their 96K 24 Bit resolution make a huge contribution to Mirror Sound's recording quality.

Note: Favorable sight lines and non-parallel walls construction.
Many thanks to Ira Langlois from Langlois Pianos International for our wonderful Baldwin piano. Center Stage , Gavin Clifford performs with a Neuman U87 on his Guitar.
